this field. Consequently, the paper emphasized that the
scarcity of both Arabic language resources and technological
infrastructure capable of handling large amounts of data
explains the limitations of available Arabic language
application systems. This, sets the stage for robust
competition of the Arab world with influential technological
powers in the contemporary landescape.
With the widespread use of the Internet of Things (IoT), data
is being collected from billions of devices around the world
in various forms, including texts, images, videos, audio
files, and more. It is expected that the global data field will
grow to 175 ZB by 2025, compared to 33 ZB in 2018. Therefore,
any type of data breach would pose a significant threat to
national security, thereby the protection of highly sensitive
information becomes increasingly crucial. Indeed, it is in
the national security interest of countries to continuously
protect the growing data, ensure privacy, and provide
strong security measures to mitigate the risks of theft or
misuse.
Consequently, the use of advanced artificial intelligence
capabilities by other countries, particularly those with
hostile intentions, presents a serious challenge to national
security. If these systems are used to carry out sophisticated
cyberattacks, disseminate fake news and misleading
information, or any other form of technological warfare,
they shall pose a significant threat. In this context, any
form of false content and misleading information serves as
a multiplier for the threat, as such information can
manipulate public opinion, leading to instability.
The danger intensifies when there is no guarantee
that this technology will always be used appropriately
or ethically by all countries or large corporations that
may be inclined to harness the power of super artificial
intelligence for their narrow interests and pursuit of
financial gain.
Super artificial intelligence carries numerous risks and
threats associated with its ability to disrupt traditional
industries and dominate the job market. Task automation,
role replacement, and advanced content creation
capabilities can contribute to displacing the workforce,
leading to worsened economic disparities.
It can be said that super artificial intelligence systems are
capable of producing a new form of colonialism that aligns
with the advancements of the current technological era,
known as «Data Colonialism». This entails the control of major
technology companies over data and the manipulation of their
